Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities
- Create drawing packages including schematics, P&ID’s drawings, assembly drawings.
- Generate Allen Bradley based programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) programs.
- Design control panels and enclosures to generate bills of material for procurement by purchasing.
- Layout and assemble equipment main electrical control and miscellaneous electrical cabinets.
- Specify electrical components parts for projects and, in some cases, mechanical parts with assistance.
- Develop overall electrical standards for all equipment.
- Coordinate and work with subcontractors during overflow work periods when their assistance is required.
- Assist sales with the electrical costing and proposal descriptions for aftermarket and equipment sales.
- Collaborate with project managers to assist with electrical project planning.
- Electrical & mechanical project management.
- Provide in-house and in-field technical electrical support to service technicians and customers.
- Provide PLC and HMI programming and navigation training to Kono Kogs service representatives.
- Commission controls upgrade and equipment projects.
- Generate service and engineering reports upon completion of field work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or electromechanical degree with equivalent air pollution control equipment experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience with RSLogix, Studio5000 programming.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time for sales, commissioning, and service trips.
- Troubleshooting/Problem solving capabilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills in Excel/Word.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass drug screening.
