Field Installation Technician

We are looking to add a Field Installation Technician to our team! We provide a casual and flexible working environment and a great opportunity to get on board with a growing company.
Job Responsibilities
Work directly with the Field Installation Manager to understand the scope of the work required.
- Demonstrate skills with both MIG and Stick welding
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and vender specifications with minimal supervision to dismantle and reassemble machine sub-assemblies using various hand and power tools
- Assist in staging and delivery of materials and equipment. Our installations consist of all types of air pollution control equipment, in all types of industry
- Perform mechanical assembly operations to precise tolerances: position and align parts using fixtures, jigs, and templates
- Ability to work from aerial lifts
- Work with rotating shafts, gear trains, mechanical structures and sprockets
- Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies
- Use measuring instruments to level and align work
- Familiarity with natural gas, electrical, and compressed air utilities
- Meet and Maintain quality and performance expectations including efficiencies and productivity standards
- Actively participate in team meetings to communicate and help resolve any productivity and quality issues
- Regularly and effectively communicate and interact with other team members
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Ability to travel
Qualifications
- Rigging experience
- Computer skills in Excel/Word/AutoCad
- 2-4 years of experience preferred but not required
- Troubleshooting/Problem solving capabilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to pass drug screening
