Field Installation Technician

Kono Kogs, Inc. makes air pollution control more affordable by offering quality, refurbished thermal, catalytic, and regenerative thermal oxidizers to our clients to meet their stringent air permit regulations.

We are looking to add a Field Installation Technician to our team! We provide a casual and flexible working environment and a great opportunity to get on board with a growing company.

Job Responsibilities

Work directly with the Field Installation Manager to understand the scope of the work required.

• Demonstrate skills with both MIG and Stick welding
• Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and vender specifications with minimal supervision to dismantle and reassemble machine sub-assemblies using various hand and power tools
• Assist in staging and delivery of materials and equipment. Our installations consist of all types of air pollution control equipment, in all types of industry
• Perform mechanical assembly operations to precise tolerances: position and align parts using fixtures, jigs, and templates
• Ability to work from aerial lifts
• Work with rotating shafts, gear trains, mechanical structures and sprockets
• Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies
• Use measuring instruments to level and align work
• Familiarity with natural gas, electrical, and compressed air utilities
• Meet and Maintain quality and performance expectations including efficiencies and productivity standards
• Actively participate in team meetings to communicate and help resolve any productivity and quality issues
• Regularly and effectively communicate and interact with other team members
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Ability to travel

Qualifications

• Rigging experience
• Computer skills in Excel/Word/AutoCad
• 2-4 years of experience preferred but not required
• Troubleshooting/Problem solving capabilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass drug screening
