VOC Zeolite Rotor Concentrator ready to ship

Advantages of a Zeolite Rotor Concentrator

A Zeolite Rotary VOC concentrator fills a niche in air emission control market that can save users 50%+ in electric and fuel demand when compared to a regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) in the same application. VOC type and concentration and airstream temperature determine whether a rotary concentrator can be effective.

Applying & Designing a Zeolite Rotor Concentrator

Selecting the correct zeolite adsorbent type and the rotor size is critical for proper performance. The selection is driven by both the VOC mix and the VOC destruction desired. Our applications engineering team reviewed operating conditions and determined that a rotary concentrator was a good match for this customer. Their new air source of 17,500 scfm could have been routed directly to an existing RTO, but would have maxed out RTO capacity. Utilizing a rotary concentrator to pre-treat this new air source concentrates the air volume down to 1,750 scfm (10:1 concentration ratio), before routing it to the RTO for final VOC destruction. This preserved 15,750 scfm of capacity in the RTO for future use.

Assembling the Zeolite Rotor Concentrator

Our fabrication and assembly team began with the custom zeolite rotor “cassette” and integrated our custom built filter box, burner box, and dampers. Instrumentation, piping, gas train and PLC controls completed this custom, stand-alone VOC Zeolite Rotor Concentrator.

Could Your Application Benefit from a VOC Zeolite Rotor Concentrator?

> Is your emission airstream less than 100F with a light VOC concentration?

>Is your RTO maxed out while treating some ambient temperature airstreams?
