Mechanical Engineer
Established in 1996, Kono Kogs, Inc. is a privately owned company who has now come the world’s leading supplier of used thermal oxidizer systems. Kono Kogs, Inc. makes air pollution control more affordable by offering quality, refurbished thermal, catalytic, and regenerative thermal oxidizers to our clients to meet their stringent air permit regulations.
We are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to our team! We provide a casual and flexible working environment and a great opportunity to get on board with a growing company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion to create parts, assemblies, and detail drawings
- Assist with new equipment design, as needed
- Support fabrication and assembly as needed
- Understand, identify, and solve design issues
- Work within critical dates to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
- Coordinate design reviews as necessary
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent
- 3+ years experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with 3D modeling software, preferably Autodesk Fusion
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and procedures
- Familiarity with SMACNA
- Problem-Solving skills with attention to detail
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to maintain good relations with others
