From refurbished oxidizers to full-service thermal oxidizer solutions
Kono Kogs began in 1996 as a supplier of refurbished thermal oxidizers. Refurbishing remains an important part of who we are today, and gives our team a perspective other thermal oxidizer manufacturers can’t offer.
Working with equipment from many different OEMs for more than 30 years has given us a broad perspective on what works best and how to maximize equipment service life in a practical, cost-effective way. We apply that experience whether we’re rebuilding an existing system or engineering a new Kono Kogs oxidizer from the ground up.
Today, Kono Kogs designs and manufactures custom thermal oxidizer and VOC abatement systems in-house while continuing to maintain one of the industry’s strongest capabilities for refurbishing, repairing, rebuilding and upgrading existing equipment.

Unmatched Facilities
Kono Kogs operates in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with in-house engineering, fabrication and assembly capabilities for thermal oxidizer systems and related equipment. We believe a superior facility indicates a commitment to quality. With 76,000 operational square feet, we can handle any thermal oxidizer project.

Our team can design, fabricate, assemble, install and commission complete systems as well as manufacture supporting components such as process ductwork and tee dampers. Our field crews are Kono Kogs employees working under Kono Kogs project leadership (never third-party crews handed a project after the equipment is built).
Our customers also have a consistent point of contact throughout the project, helping keep engineering decisions, schedules, field work and communication connected from beginning to end.

A long-term approach to customer relationships
Being able to offer new equipment, refurbished systems and aftermarket services allows us to evaluate more than one path forward for each customer.
If a custom new system is the right investment, we can design and build it. If a refurbished oxidizer can meet the requirements while saving capital or shortening lead time, we’ll recommend one. If an existing system still has years of useful service life and repair and rebuilding or upgrades are the smarter investment, we can help with that, too.

Safety is a priority throughout Kono Kogs projects, especially when our crews are working at customer facilities for installation, relocation, repair or other field service.
Kono Kogs participates in ISNetworld and is an ISN RAVS Plus participant, and we are a member of the National Safety Council. Our preventative maintenance and remote monitoring services also help customers identify developing equipment problems before they become larger operational or safety concerns.
